Chapter 6: Slander

The next day, Xu Lang took another day off school, a sick day off, the class teacher repeatedly confirmed with him that it was nothing serious, before hanging up.

Xu Lang didn't go to school, because today was the meeting day with Director Lin.

The meeting time was ten in the morning, Xu Lang went to the coffee shop an hour earlier, continuing the video he didn't finish last night.

At nine-thirty, he saw Director Lin coming in with some people.

Xu Lang felt that this voice was a bit familiar, then he remembered, this was that girl called Tian Tian.

"This was the living expenses I gave her, is there a problem?" Xu Lang pushed opened the door walking in, and said.

The several girls inside were all shocked. The classmates that were circling this bunch of people quarreling were also shocked. "The book materials I bought for you." Xu Lang felt strange.

"I didn't see any book materials......"

"Because I had something to do I went home, you weren't in the classroom, so I put your living expenses for this month and the book materials in your desk." Xu Lang explained, "You didn't see any of it?"

"There was nothing at my desk yesterday, coming back from the canteen during the afternoon today, I found that I had one thousand yuan in my bag." Xia Teng said, "I just took it out and was about to find the teacher, but instead I was stopped by them saying that I stole Li Li's money."

[1]So the author changed the director's name from Ye Ce to Lin Ce......there's no note on why the author did this. Some might have noticed this in the previous chapter it said that Xu Lang was talking on the phone with Ye Ce but then at lunch, it said that Xu Lang was looking at a contract from Director Lin instead. Confusing but basically it's Lin Ce now.
